PAYMENT
At Tributes, we aim to make your payment process as straightforward as possible. Here’s a summary of our payment terms and accepted methods. For complete legal details, please refer to Clause 6 of our full terms & conditions.
Our Pricing
- The price of goods will be confirmed in our current price booklet or as otherwise agreed in writing.
- Please note that prices are exclusive of packaging, delivery fees, VAT, and any other applicable taxes or levies.
- We reserve the right to increase prices before delivery if our costs (e.g., materials, labour, exchange rates) increase due to factors beyond our control. Any such increase will be communicated to you in writing.
Invoicing and Payment Due Dates
- Invoices will be issued by us on or after delivery of the goods. If you are collecting the goods, or if you fail to take delivery, invoices will be issued once the goods are ready for collection or tendered for delivery.
- Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due within 30 days of the invoice date. This timeframe applies even if delivery hasn't occurred or title to the goods hasn't yet passed to you.
Payment Methods
- Our preferred payment method is BACS transfer. Please ensure you clearly include your Customer Reference number with any BACS payment.
- We also accept payments by credit and debit cards.
- All payments must be made in Pound Sterling, unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing.
Late Payments & Credit Facilities
- If payment is not received within the agreed credit terms, we reserve the right to charge statutory interest and debt recovery costs in line with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 (or any superseding legislation). Interest will accrue daily until the overdue amount is paid in full.
- Failure to make timely payments may result in the immediate withdrawal of your credit facility.
- Business Accounts are generally required to maintain an average spend of £500 per quarter to keep their credit facility operational. We reserve the right to withdraw credit facilities from accounts that do not meet this threshold, or from any account without prior notice. Please note that minimum spend thresholds do not apply to education and local authority accounts.
- Even if your credit facility is cancelled, you will still be able to place orders by paying with a credit or debit card.
