All our animals have a full care plan, daily paperwork for cleaning, health checks, food and water. In addition, we have regular visits from our veterinary team to check on the health of every animal in our care.
Our mission is to bring about the day when all dogs can enjoy a happy life, free from the threat of unnecessary destruction.
We were founded in a London coffee shop in 1824. The men present knew they were creating the world’s first animal welfare charity, but they couldn’t have imagined the size and shape that the charity would become today.
