A sense of innovation
We’ve always been keen to explore new ideas and bring something new to the funeral sector: after all, we did invent the scatter tube which is now a universally recognised product. Today that sense of innovation is still crucial, and all of our coffins are initially designed in-house. We also have some options which are totally unique and are currently one of the few suppliers of teardrop-shaped woven coffins in the UK.
A global network
Our coffins are made in a number of locations, with our English Willow range crafted in the UK’s stunning Somerset Levels. Other coffin options are sourced from other parts of the world, but all are made by small family businesses using traditional techniques. Wherever our coffins are made we always maintain a strong emphasis on high quality, environmental sustainability and fair trade. We continuously review the design of all of our coffins and take all feedback on board which allows us to refine our products to provide exactly what families need.
A trusted product
All of our coffins are handwoven and made using the natural materials of willow, bamboo or bulrush, crafted using traditional methods. Each one is unique and we take great pride and care in making sure every coffin is perfect through a stringent quality-checking process. All our coffins pass vigorous testing programmes when they are released from our artisan teams. When they reach our HQ, our coffin team then make sure each one offers families complete peace of mind. All of our ranges are certified by the FFMA using its stringent Coffin and Casket Testing Protocol to ensure they are fit for purpose.
Keeping it personal
Our complete range of coffins all have the versatility to be personalised in a number of ways. Families are able to personalise their loved one’s coffin with engraved tags, handwritten messages or dried or fresh flowers. We also offer a colour choice for coffins, with a range of standard colours or bespoke options.
